For those who do not know, I already had a beauty blog back in 2011. It was named "Beauty in Distress". Now don't go searching for it because I already deleted that blog and its contents. The layout was crude and too many things were happening on the site. Also, the posts were too wordy and the photos, very amateur.
I stopped uploading posts when I went to law school in 2012. This was mainly because I found it hard to allot time for product photography, editing and posting. I knew I could not handle it while juggling law school and other extra-curricular activities. Blogging took a backseat and I decided not to go back anymore.
Fast-forward to 2017, I decided to give blogging another try. I love sharing product reviews with my friends online and over food and coffee and thought, why not bring those reviews to a bigger audience again? Ladies and gents deserve to know if their money is worth a product before actually going and buying it. Let's face it: some companies make crap products and they have the gall to slap a hefty price tag on it.
This is why the catch phrase of my new blog is "where genuine reviews are at!" I vow to only give my readers my honest opinions about a product even if in the future, brands will start giving me free stuff. Doing otherwise is fooling my readers as well as myself.
So here goes my second attempt to blogging! I only hope to sustain this until it grows.
